Celebration of Scholarship

Call for Submissions

Help us celebrate your work! Each year, JFK University honors faculty, students, alumni and staff who have made a scholarly, creative, or service contribution in their field. The seventh annual Celebration of Scholarship is coming up May 15, 2013 from 1:30-3:30pm on the Pleasant Hill Campus. We'll honor selected JFK University community members at a dessert reception with a certificate of recognition. Additionally, the list of contributions will be available at the celebration and on the JFK University Libraries website. Works owned by the Libraries will be on display at the Robert M. Fisher Library. You are invited to submit your work!

For consideration: Submissions published, presented, or shown between May 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012* will be considered for recognition. Submissions honored at last year's event will not be eligible. Evidence of your work should be provided as an APA citation including links where applicable. All citations are verified and reviewed by the Celebration of Scholarship committee.

Submission form: Fill out the online submission form today! Submissions are being accepted through April 15, 2013.

Types of work recognized: Works representing a scholarly, creative, or service contribution will be considered. Examples include journal or edited newsletter and magazine articles; books or book chapters, including selected works and creative contributions such as poetry or artwork; conference presentations, posters, panels or workshops; curated and juried art exhibits, including artwork, exhibition guides, and digital objects created as part of exhibits; works and performances; projects supported by grant or endowment funding; creation of or contributions to online publications, blogs or websites; awards or recognition from professional associations or other bodies for contributions to your field; and more!
